Best Online Marketing Tools

The list below contains my favorite online marketing tools. I use many of them myself on my own websites. Note that some of the links below are affiliate links.

Best SEO Courses

The Authority Site System by AuthorityHacker is the premier course for creating an authority site from the ground up. It navigates you through every phase - from choosing your niche, constructing your site, creating content, to building links.

Casey's ZimmWriter Course

Unlock the secrets to insightful and engaging copywriting with Casey's ZimmWriter course. Dive into the world of AI-driven content creation and understand how ZimmWriter can revolutionize your writing, boost keyword optimization, and work towards skyrocketing your engagement rates.

Best ZimmWriter Third-Party Addons

AIMasher is an AI-powered toolkit that has many functions to help speedup your workflow. At the most basic level, it bulk schedules ZimmWriter files, adds missing images, uses Midjourney, adds title prompting, media mixer, niche ideas, article re-inventor, and more!

You can also bulk import ZimmWriter files using Google sheets. It's jam packed with features like image generation, interlinking, categories, tags, SEO, and lots more! It does require some more technical knowledge on your behalf to set everything up, but it works great when configured.

Best Amazon WordPress Plugins

AFFI.ai is making massive waves as an affiliate plugin. This all-inclusive solution enables you to craft incredible affiliate product boxes, not just for Amazon, but also for Ebay, Aliexpress, and Kelkoo products. You have the flexibility to even include custom merchants! What's really the cherry on top is the contextual advertising feature. It scans your page and automagically slips in affiliate products relevant to your text!

You've got AAWP, a contender that's been in the game for over a decade. It's packed with a plethora of features and customizable settings, including Amazon boxes, geotargeting, Gutenberg blocks, automatic tracking ID insertion, widgets, and so much more. It's more polished than AFFI.ai, however, it doesn't offer the automatic contextual insertion of affiliate products or support for merchants outside of Amazon.

Best SEO Tools

SEMRUSH

Semrush is one of the best SEO keyword research tools. Use it to find hidden long-tail keywords with low competition, keyword gaps that your competition hasn't found yet, and even reverse engineer existing websites to steal their ideas. Needless to say, I'm a fan and pay monthly for a subscription. As the moment, Semrush even offers a 7-day trial.

Frase

Take those fancy keywords you've gathered from Semrush and feed them to Frase. Frase crawls the top 20 results on Google's SERP, dishing out all sorts of juicy data on how to craft your article, and which long-tail keywords to sprinkle in for a higher ranking. The icing on the cake? It's packed with some seriously smart AI and pairs perfectly with ZimmWriter.

Best Hosting

Siteground Web Hosting

SiteGround is absolutely nailing it in the shared hosting game. It's cheaper than dedicated hosting, yet miles ahead of any other shared web host out there. I've got a bunch of my own websites running on SiteGround, so trust me when I say they're the best for shared hosting.

One step up from shared hosting is managed dedicated hosting. I'm using WPMUDEV for many of my sites including this one (rankingtactics.com). I like how I can spin up a bunch of sites on different IPs and if one takes off, I can scale up as needed.

Best WordPress Stuff

When building a site, sometimes I'll use a page builder but other times I'll use a theme. Most of my affiliate sites use the Blocksy theme. It's flexible, fast, and very customizable. Plus the team behind it is awesome so you can count on support.

LuckyWP Table of Contents is a free table of contents plugin that I use on almost all of my sites. It's very lightweight and has many customization options. Just install the plugin, adjust the settings, and BOOM, all your posts now have an interactive table of contents.

FluentForms is the best form plugin on the market. Unlike other WP form plugins, it doesn't charge you based on impressions or submissions. Unlimited baby! Includes a drag-and-drop builder, premade templates, quiz modules, conversational forms, multi-step forms, conditional logic, etc. It's the only form plugin I use on my sites.

Ninja Tables is the only table plugin on use on my websites. Where do I begin... Fluent Forms integration, charts, drag-drop builder, dynamic tables, auto-sync with Google Sheets, WooCommerce product tables, conditional formatting, unlimited data, formulas, etc. Ninja Tables even has a lifetime deal available at the moment!

WP Social Ninja brings your social media feeds onto your website. Easily keep your website update with your latest Google My Business reviews, Facebook feed, YouTube videos, Twitter (X) feed, IG Feed, and more. It even includes a Messenger, WhatsApp, and Telegram chat widget right on your website. I don't use this on every website, but when I need my social feeds pulled onto my site, this is my number one plugin.

I send all RankingTactics and ZimmWriter emails via FluentCRM and spend pennies a month. Yes, setup is slightly more complicated than a SAAS solution, but their FB group is A+. Unlimited contacts, unlimited emails, drag-and-drop builder, automations, integrations, campaigns, etc. You name it, FluentCRM can probably do it. Forget paying $1,000/mo for a SAAS CRM. Do yourself a favor and get FluentCRM.

Best Link Building Stuff

LinkBoss is an SAAS tool that integrates with WordPress via a plugin to build links using AI. The main things I like about this over other solutions are the quality of its internal link recommendations, its ability to automatically create new content sections with internal links using AI, and how it allows me to manage many of my affiliate sites on a single dashboard.

There are many ways to build backlinks. Some people shortcut the process and exchange financial consideration for backlinks. There are pros and cons to this approach, it's also expensive, and it's not for noobs. But if you've traveled this road in the past, then QGP gets my recommendation. I personally met the founder and he's a good guy.
